Taylor is a registered Audiologist working with Central Health. She earned her Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology from Memorial University-Grenfell Campus, and her Master of Clinical Science from Western University. Practicing in the public sector allows Taylor to work with anyone from infants to the elderly in both diagnostic testing and aural (re)habilitation.
Taylor knew she wanted to be an Audiologist after volunteering and eventually working with hearing research teams in Central Newfoundland. There she learned about the need for Audiologists in the public sector and decided she wanted to help fill the gap. Given that her hometown of Bishop’s Falls is just a few minutes down the road from the hospital, Taylor is proud to serve the place where she grew up.
Taylor is excited to be a part of the NLASLPA executive team as it will allow her to engage with, and advocate for members across the province. Completing her Master’s degree and starting work in the age of Covid-19 has made Taylor appreciate the connections created through professional associations, and she is eager to continue meeting and working with people as Past-President!
