Laura Brown

Laura is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist working in healthcare. She completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at Memorial University in St. John’s and then completed a Masters of Health Science – Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Toronto. Laura spent the first five years of her career working for Autism Services in rural Saskatchewan. She moved home in 2021 and is thrilled to be able to work in the field she loves at home. Laura loves getting to know and help people and working in healthcare allows her to work with many different populations. Laura enjoys constantly getting to learn new things and working with the incredible healthcare teams in this province. Laura is excited to get to know the NLASLPA membership better through her role as president this year. She is ready to advocate for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists and promote the incredible work NLASLPA members do every day.
