Jade is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist working with the Newfoundland and Labrador English School District. She spends the majority of her time working with students in grades Kindergarten to grade 6.
Before Jade became a Speech-Language Pathologist, she worked as a Child Management Specialist. In this role, Jade collaborated with SLPs and developed an interest in communication disorders – she decided to change her profession! She had a strong desire to learn more about how to help people with their communication needs. Jade feels that having a positive impact on someone’s ability to communicate with their friends and loved ones is incredibly rewarding
Jade loves working as a part of a team and sharing ideas about how to advocate for NLASLPA’s members and the people they service. Being President provides Jade with an opportunity to get to know the Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists who work across the province.
