Allyson is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist working at the Health Sciences Centre. She works with adults who have difficulties swallowing and communicating.
Allyson was set on going into another profession until she took a linguistics class while completing her undergraduate degree. After that, she was hooked—she realized that Speech-Language Pathology is a great way to apply her interests while making a difference trying to help people.
Allyson feels the best part of being involved with NLASLPA is working toward positive outcomes for NLASLPA members with a group of great people.
